I am apart of the only Military Marching Band in South Texas. This year we play SAC as apart of our UIL Show, Along with Sinfonians March. Our Band Director says that “We might as well imitate the best, with the best being Texas A&M.”
I was an Air Force Brat, 18 years on SAC bases and I don’t remember the song. Then again i didn’t attend any ceremonial occasions. But! Burnt JP is perfume to my nose and always takes me back to my youth. Love that stuff.
Heard this last night at the A&M v nu game, and I finally heard the name of this and recorded it on my phone. This is one of my favorite songs that they play.
As a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 1993, my chest always swells up with pride for my alma mater whenever I hear the Fighting Texas Aggie Band – The Pulse of Aggieland!
we’re playing this right now for our band, i play the trombone and everything fits in so well, our band sucks right now but i think the song is awsome
I am so glad that we have some Aggie Band tunes as well as drills on youtube! If you haven’t yet, you should check out the Aggie Band webpage on wikipedia. A-Batt Bass ’02!
