Latin American Austin: Art, Culture, and Cuisine

Please join us for this entertaining and educational look at Latin America in Austin. On Saturday, Feb 25th, we will depart Texas A&M at 8:30 am and leave Austin by 5:00 pm. Starting on the bus to Austin with a conversation with Dr. Antonio de la Pastina on Latin American art, we will tour the Latin American collection at the Blanton Museum (http://www.blantonmuseum.org), go to an Argentinian restaurant for lunch (http://www.buenosairescafe.com) and end our day with a visit to Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center in Austin (http://www.maccaustin.org). Bring some extra money as there may be some time to explore on your own. Registration is $ 20. It includes transportation, breakfast, lunch, and admissions to museum and cultural center. RSVP online (see website below)
